Hi, Anonymous I would really love to help you with your bike question but due to the magnitude of yesterday's solar flare the batteries in my crystal ball are dead and my mental telepathy headset circuitry was melted. I need the year, make, and model of your motorcycle please click on " Ask For More Information" directly below and provide this information in the box that will open and then click on the green "SEND" box in the bottom right-hand corner after it posts I will receive an "ALERT" icon that will allow me to respond to your information. Good luck and have a wonderful day.

Hello sir I want know the stock turns of carb of fz16 . Bike gave more mileage at least 55 in local and turns of carb now is 5 half turns. Please help me my bike is overheating even after removing kn...

Not 100% sure on the bike specific. Usually it's this : with the bike running turn fuel mixture screw in until it starts to sputter. Then go 2 and a half to 3 turns out. If your still running hot I would look into intake or exhaust leaks or another mechanical problem. But always refer to service manual.

Bike turns over all lights on except the neutral light when i try and start it it wont start all fuses work battery good

You dont say what bike this is, most modern bikes wont start if the neutrol light does not work, this is safety feture to stop you starting the bike in gear, does the bike turn over ok or not? Does the bike have the gearing selection reversed as with rear sets in track mode as the gears are reversed, and neutrol would be 1 down from the top

some bikes have a clutch switch where you have to pull the clutch in to start it, i know a lot of suzuki's have them.

Bike tipped over and now wont start. 1998 honda intercepter .

first make sure bike is in upright position then turn key off then back on and try to start the bike. sometimes you have to turn the key on,off,on,off,on and start the bike. this will reset you tilt sensor ( properly known as lean angle sensor). if the bike still doesn't start you probably need a new tilt sensor unless you bypass it.

Signal lights on R1 don't work...

Though I can't recall what the wire colors are for your bike's turn signals, here's how to figure it out: on the turn signals that you bought, first determine which wire is the ground by removing the light bulb and then checking to see which wire has continuity to the turn signal's metal bulb socket base.
Then find out which wire is the running light and which is the turn signal by hooking the ground wire and one of the other wires to a 12 volt power source. Which ever wire makes the brighter part of the bulb light up is the turn signal - the dimmer one is for the running light.
On the bike, match the turn signal wire to the bike's wiring that is 'hot' with the turn signal switch on. Plug the running light wire from the turn signal into the bike's wiring that is 'hot' whever the key is on. Hook the turn signal ground wire to the bike's ground wire(s).

High excelaration when starting bike, also must use choke to turn bike on, if choke is reduced bike will turn off

Your carb or carbs need cleaned. Remove them from the bike and disasemble them completly and make shure all jets and passage ways are free of dirt and grime. Use a good carb cleaner and compressed air.
Readjust float and air/fuel screw should be 1 1/2 turns out from seat.

Turn signal wont turn off by itself

There is NO auto signal cancel device on the Valkyrie. You must set up an auto system in your own head connected to your left thumb.

Make sure that the bike's electrical connection to the GPS unit is actualy not having power once you turn the key off in the bike. This GPS turns on with external power. It is inherent in to its design.

In the case were you cannot have the bike's power source to the GPS turn off with the key, see if you can wire a small in-line switch in series with the GPS unit so that you have an external power switch. This should be easy to do.

The models I have used from Garmin have their own power switch. You should be able to use its power switch to turn it off.
