2003 road king....no pin.....flashing indicators....had to disconnect the battery .....thoughts? @

yes you should start it at least once weekly to maintain battery and keep engine lubricated, also it keeps fuel flowing through the bike. but dont just start up then switch off, make sure you get it up to normal operating temprature, this keeps moisture out of the engine oil.

take a wire or small screw driver across any two pins you are looking for a earth from tx to tx the last pin is mic. on mic side use a multimeter earth is braid, find rx lead next . key mic multimeter shows 0 tx. audio has a higher value .

if you lower the front of the bike the same as you lower the back of the bike the only thing is dragging the pegs when you corner i have slammed one to about 2 ins off the ground

The drain plug is on the left side of the oil reservoir pointing towards the front of the bike. The motor should be warm when you dump the oil and the o-ring should be replaced as an extra precaution (don't want to waste that new oil if you have a drip). When replacing the oil filter use a piece of tin foil to divert the oil to your waste pan.
