I have a 1997 Vulcan 1500 classic that smokes real bad. All black smoke I know it is to rich and I've clean the carb and put new jets plugs wires and coils and it is still pouring black smoke

Could have a bad map sensor. The Map sensor is located on the throttle body. I have seen countless Jepp that start blowing black smoke when they go bad. That would be a good starting place.

Check engine air filter.If ok remove and check injectors.

Check your oil. Does it smell like gas? If so, don't run it even if you could. You will fry your engine. The float needle and seat in the carb are leaking. In other words, the float needle is not shutting off the gas when the bowl is full. You need to have them replaced.

Have 2002 Vulcan 1600 Drifter. The tail and brake lights will not work. They were working rear turn signals do. It blew the fuse twice, now it is not blowing the fuse but still no lights. Got power to the fuse and leaving it not arriving at the rear light. The plug in,before it goes inside the rear fender, what color wires are what so I can check if things are arriving there O.K.?
