Will only stay running on revs over 2000rpm if I take foot of peddle it cuts out also white smoke from exhaust

What is year--make--model?
Are you losing coolant? The white smoke may be coolant in the combustion cylinder, possibly caused by a head gasket problem. If head gasket problem, fix that first.

With idle issues, clean/check anything that has to do with idle air system. Any applicable trouble codes?

White smoke from exhaust

The white smoke you are seeing is steam. From your description, sounds like you have coolent seeping into the combustion chamber, mixing with your fuel/air, and exiting out through your exhaust as steam. 1, blown head gasket. 2. cracked head or block, 3, warped head due to overheating. Most common is #1.

Hi i have a 2003 chrysler voyager 2.5,erm seems to be smoke coming from underneath car when turning engine off im thinkin its something to do with the rear heating system box and pipe under the car,lol im...

Hi Joanne, dont know a big pile about cars but I also have 2003 Voyager and I know that this is caused when your heater is up fully. There should also be a whining noise. There is some system in the Chrysler that uses diesel to assist your heater. This causes this series of events when you stop your car and is nothing to worry about. On the subject of heating, my heater is **** and doesnt seem to be enough to heat car. Hope this is helpful. C Burns

White smoke comes out tail pipe

Its perfectly normal.Hot exhaust gases mixing with cold air and by products of the combustion process create the watery substance that you see spit out .Dual fuel (LPG,Hydrogen etc) vehicles do this a lot more noticably.By products of the combustion process are various but water vapour is one of them.Alot of heat is generated by the exhaust so watching a car driving in very cold conditions you can see this effect more clearly
