I have a 98 intruder 1500 lc and every time i have power to the battery the starter starts spinning even with out key in. any ideas

I have gas dripping from the outside of my carb . It is forming on the bottom next to the jugs and drippind down my idle adjustment. it is a 1998 suzuki vl 1500 lc intruder
REmove and rebuild the carb, something is wrong and you risk fire or explosion.

The clutch on this model is hydraulic and is 'self adjusting", if the clutch is slipping the plates are worn out and in need of replacement. This information comes directly from the factory service manual.

1998 VL 1500 INTRUDER LC No current getting to the left coil. Swapped coils round to eliminate the coil, coil works fine on other side.
check your igniter and power source of the coil

I have a 2000 suzuki intruder 1500. When I turned the key on all the lights came on and when I pushed the starter every thing went dead, nothing. Tried ignition switch again and nothing. Rode bike eariler...
could be a bad connection to the battery or the starter solinoid cant think how to spell it but its where the positive battery wire hooks up

I have a 2002 Vulcan 800 classic and Ive only owned for a few months. In the last I've had a bunch of issues show up. 1. It won't run unless the choke out, but after a few attempts I can get it to run with the choke in. 2 . The front pipe for the exhaust gets super hot within minutes and the back pipe stays alot cooler, also the back pipe backfires. Hopefully someone can shed some light on a very frustrating situation.
