I have a 2012 Gv650 efi. My speedo clocks has started playing up. When I start the bike even before I move the speedo is reading 75 - 80mph. Then when I ride it sits at 299mph. Do I need new clocks.

Check all ground system connections, clean battery terminals and tighten. Check wire terminal connections where any plugs together for looseness or corrosion or partially broken or loose ground.
These problems are time consuming to locate, but once found are simple to fix.

SOURCE: battery not holding a charge,

Check the charging rate of your bike, see if its system is charging, if it does charge thn theres somewhere the battery is getting drained out.
In order to see if tht is happenning, switch off everything and thn remove one battery wire on the battery, after doing so try to fix it back and notice if theres any sparks when it comes to the contact of the battery terminal , if so thn theres a drain somewhere in the electricals and wiring.

Good luck.

SOURCE: while riding all lights started to flash engine run erratic bike died of death bike will not start

Start with charging and load testing the battery. Then test the stator, to test the stator on the bottom of the right down tube is the plug that goes from the stator to the voltage regulator. With a multi meter, read the voltage from the stator, I forget the exact values but as you rev the motor the voltage should climb if it dosn't your stator is bad. If the stator is good take a reading again with the motor running at the battery cables, again I forget the exact value but you should have a steady reading at the battery, if it isn't and fluctuates it is bad.

SOURCE: BIKE STARTED WENT FOR A RIDE,WOULDN'T START AGAIN

Are the electrics still Lucas, the prince of darkness? If so, go thru the whole ignition system, track the circuit to the plugs. It may be as simple as a weak battery, closed points, or funky plugs. Start there, and a bad condenser can stop you, too. I've only seen one bad condenser, but you may have the next. Take the plug out and hold it to the motor and check for spark while spinning the motor. With the other plug out it will spin easier. Check both, if you have two coils.

2016 Hyosung GT 650 FI light flashing

I have a 2014 gv650 pro that will not idle, it starts and runs with throttle but stalls as soon as revs drop. I've tried to get F1 code to come up but it doesn't just keeps flashing F1. I've replaced spark plugs and caps but F1 is on before you even start the bike and stays on

I have a 2009 Polaris Sportsman 500EFI 4 wheeler. Recently, the number 1200 started flashing under the speedo. What does this indicate?

that sounds like your clock. engine codes don't go that high.and if it was your clock you must of lost 12 volt power at some point.

You can't with out braking a couple little parts inside the speedo. You can give it a try I have heard of it being done without any damage. Here in my state it's against the law to do this.

After starting the bike up and moving away the digital speedo stays on 0 and i have to keep stopping switching it of and restarting until it works

This is a known issue with Triumph Triples from 2002/2003 - there was a 'feature' in the ECM code called speedo error check which looks at the battery voltage and disables the speedo if below boundaries.
However this feature was extremely problematic from the very outset - even brand new batteries would suffer this issue.
It is exactly as you described - typically at first start it will disable - speedo reads zero; a subsequent re-start will restore. No in between - either works or doesn't work (a reading that is inconsistent to actual speed is more likely to be a speed sender issue).
Triumph received so many complaints that they disbaled the feature in subsequent revisions.
The solution is to have your dealer upload the latest edition of 'tune' for your model into your ECM.
Unfortunately this is not something you can do yourself.
Depending on your relationship with dealer, some will do this free - or charge a nominal fee around $50.

This will 100% fix your problem.

06 m50 sat for approx 6 months charged the battery won't start.

from your description, i would sugest you make sure fuel is getting to the injector unit, remove the fuel supply hose.if you have spark at the plugs and fuel getting to the injectors you have isolated the problem. i would also drain the old fuel when you take the hose off and fill the tank with high grade fuel. bikes dont like old gas.
