Hi my 2014 Yamaha sr viper is very hard to start cold or hot

Is it getting enough fuel? Have you replaced the fuel filter and or air filter? If either or both are dirty or restricted it could cause hard starting and poor performance. Have you checked the solenoid wire on top of the battery? Try removing cleaning and re-installing solenoid wire and battery cables. Also have your battery tested. Just because it is turning the engine over does not mean it is spinning fast enough to start. A weak battery can also cause damage to your starter.
