Husqvarna r5424 won't start, won't even crank. Ran just fine a week ago, now, nothing

Already check the safety seat switch. It seems like an electrical problem. Turn the key and you can hear a slight click, continue to start and nothing. Battery checks out okay, as does the safety seat switch. Could be the solenoid, but don't get the click click click like you do on a car or truck.

SOURCE: 95 F150 wont crank

the starter should be replaced. The solenoid is kikcing the pinion out but there is no contact being made to turn the starter motor. I have the exact same truck and before i changed the starter used the old starter tap trick. Tap the starter casing with a hammer and it should start turning again. hope this was helpful for you. Good luck.

SOURCE: 95 olds achieva starter not engaging

The click you hear is the starter relay. Check for continuity thru relay with battery negative cable disconnected and switch in start position. If no continuity, it probably has burned contacts. Sometimes these can be taken apart and contacts filed/sanded cleaned.

SOURCE: vehicle will not start

try having someone turn the key to the start position while you tap on the starter it may be jammed or you might check for misallignment of the starter and make sure it is wired right.

My snapper ride on mower wont start i used mobile jump starter , unfortunatly the starter moter isnt even turning , , is there anything easy to check begore taking to mower repair facility ?

Did you check the voltage in the battery, better yet load test the battery. I bought a battery last summer and found they only warranty them for 60 days. There are safety things which will not let the mower try to start. I changed my seat switch last summer. on mine you raise the seat and you see the switch. I can not remember if I pulled the wires off and connected them or left them separated from one another. It ran till I could order the switch. The seat switch will not let the mower even try to start. On mine the PTO has to be off. You might want to make sure the brake is on and you have it in neutral. These are a couple issues I have had.

Just purchased a toro zero turn mower at garage sale. Ran very well first couple weeks. I was running it the other day, shut it down, jumped back on 10 mins later, mower does not start.

You'll need to check all the safety switches. Probably one in the seat, one for the mower engaged, one for clutch/parking brake engaged, possibly one for reverse gear selected, and possibly for position of the steering arms.

Randomly won't start or even turn over, sometimes start fine. bouncing gauges

Yes it could be the key switch. You would need to check for power at the starter when it fails to crank. There is also a neutral safety switch in the circuit.

Replaceing timming belts A, and B,

If I understand you correctly it seems like belt "b" came off. If in deed it came off it is possible that it did som damage to the crank sensor and now since the computer doest have an rpm reference the vehicle won't start. You may have to revisit the work done and make sure everything is in order. Keep in mind this is an interference engine. Meaning that misalignment of the cam and crank or a belt coming off or breaking while everything is in motion will cause internal damage to the engine. Good luck.
