I installed led tail and brake lights on 08 street glide and now it wont start & speedo & tach are dead. is TSSM bad?
Did you check the on/off switch. Sometimes on Harley electric start switch doesn't work unless one keeps the finger pushing down on it as the other finger pushes the start.
?? Now, if that doesn't work try switching fingers.
The TSSM will not cause these symptoms. I would suggest you start from the beginning of the work you done. If the bike was operating correctly before the work was started, then for sure you have done something incorrectly. Check all fuses as is one of these is blown due to incorrect wiring, then the supply to the clock/tack could be compromised.

The tach and speedo are their own separate unit. There is no changeable light bulb. You may want to check your light and instrument fuses. If those are working, I would remove the outer fairing and check the connections to your tach and speedo.

Its a self diagnostic,,,, the check engine light should stay on for a few seconds and then go out ....as long as it doesnt come back on ....u are A OK !

I would be inspecting the kill switch. Only thing on the bar that could be it other than the start button.

No offense, but you really need a service manual to learn which drain plug to remove to change the Trans fluid, there are three under there, two for oil and Transoil change the other is to be left alone. AFAIK, things change from model year to model year.
