Can they be repaired
You need a pin-out diagram or test diagram for the CDI box in question and a multimeter. You should be able to get the former from a friendly Suzuki dealer, a less friendly CDI maker or by searching on the internet.
Basically, you check the resistance across certain pins and check that it conforms to what the factory expect. If it deviates in any way, you hit the old one with a hammer to make sure it doesn't ruin some other poor sod's day and go buy a new one.
The last one I bought cost me au$125 and was for a CBR1000.
I suggest you take the CDI to an auto-electrician or bike mechanic and save yourself an afternoon of frustration. Extra bonus is they will probably have a replacement unit you can buy which will save you a trip.
Try change your spark plug first in case it is not your cdi unit.
