I HAVE A BRAND NEW TROY-BUILT 2600PSI pressure washer. I have used it twice for about 1/2 hour each time. It worked perfectly. I tried to use it today with everything hooked up perfectly. The Honda engine started perfectly; how ever when I squeezed the wand trigger, the engine instantley died. I let the engine warm up and slowley pushed the choke in. I let it warm up for plenty of time; but everry time I squeezed the trigger it instantly quit- it even backfired once before dying. I changed the gas with new gas--after pouring the old out and putting new in. I checked all connections and had plenty of water of proper pressure. ANY IDEAS?

Sounds like the governor is stuck. My pressure washer speeds up when it has to pump. Don't know if yours uses vacuum to trigger governor or direct linkage. Good Luck.

I have a Honda 2600psi 2.3gpm pressure washer, the motor runs fine, the pressure is fine for about 5-10 seconds then it feels like the pressure drops and the hose and the water coming out of the gun is speeding up and slowing down. Any suggestions prices on parts would really help tks..

It could be the nozzle or something else is plugged. It is overloading the motor too much. Try squirting it with the engine not running. A good amount of water should come out at low pressure.

How do i prime the pump on the soaper or chemical dispenser on my troy built 2550 psi pressure washer?

There is no need to prime. But you do need to use the black spray nozzle to get soap to siphon out.
if that doesn't solve the problem let me know

All outflow stops when I start the motor on my Troy-bilt 2600 pressure washer. What's up?

Could also be crack/leak in HP pump. If it were left in cold weather without antifreeze, I'd check there first. Part + labor might warrant new washer if more than a couple years old.
Sorry.

My Troy Built 2500psi washer will not pump cleaning solution.

Next problem will be the spray head itself. It needs to be cleaned with a small wire from time to time.
