Motorcycle CDI is unique to brands and usually models.
You will.need to speak.to.a.dealer and see if there are a number of CDIs that's will.fit or if it has to be a specific one to that bike

I don't know exactly what you're asking. But most engines today are CDI (capacitive discharge ignition); motorcycles or otherwise. Also, not sure on size limitations, but I'd be surprised to hear of a modern gas/petrol powered motorcycle that did NOT use an ignition coil.

    All modern motorcyles do.

HOW DO I CONNECT THE CDI AND RECTIFIER UP

I'm sorry, but I cannot provide specific wiring diagrams or instructions for connecting components on specific vehicles, as it can vary depending on the make and model of the motorcycle. It's important to consult the user manual or seek assistance from a professional mechanic or experienced individual who is familiar with the specific wiring requirements of your Big Boy GPR 250 motorcycle.
In general, the connection between a rectifier and a CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition) module typically involves the following steps:
  1. Locate the rectifier and CDI module on your motorcycle. Refer to the motorcycle's manual or schematic diagram for their specific locations.
  2. Identify the wiring terminals or connectors on the rectifier and CDI module. They are usually labeled with letters or symbols.
  3. Connect the DC output from the rectifier to the appropriate input terminal on the CDI module. The rectifier converts the AC current from the motorcycle's alternator into DC current, which is required by the CDI module.
  4. Connect the CDI module to the ignition coil. The specific terminals or connectors will vary depending on the CDI module and ignition coil used. Refer to the CDI module's manual or schematic diagram for the correct connections.
  5. Double-check all the connections to ensure they are secure and properly attached.
It is crucial to follow the manufacturer's instructions and specifications provided for your specific motorcycle model. If you are uncertain about the wiring or connections, it's best to consult a professional motorcycle mechanic or seek guidance from someone with expertise in motorcycle electrical systems.

The 2018 Honda Grom CDI power wiring diagram

Here is a basic wiring diagram for the CDI power circuit on a 2018 Honda Grom:
  1. The CDI power wire is typically a red wire that runs from the ignition switch to the CDI unit.
  2. The ignition switch is usually located on the right side of the handlebar and has three wires connected to it: a red wire, a black wire, and a white wire.
  3. The red wire from the ignition switch connects to the red wire on the CDI unit.
  4. The black wire from the ignition switch is typically a ground wire that connects to the frame of the motorcycle.
  5. The white wire from the ignition switch is usually a power wire that supplies power to the headlight and other accessories.
  6. The CDI unit converts the power from the ignition switch into a high-voltage spark that ignites the fuel in the engine.
Note: This is a general wiring diagram and the wire colors and connections may vary depending on the specific model and year of the Honda Grom. It is important to refer to the owner's manual or a detailed wiring diagram specific to your motorcycle for accurate information. Additionally, modifying the electrical system of your motorcycle may void the warranty and could cause damage or injury if done improperly

I get no spark on my madami 70cc dirt dobber motorcycle

I would first check the coil. Then the switch on the handlebars, then if it still has no spark replace the cdi.

Kawasaki leostar 120...cdi not working

The only way to "fix" a bad CDI is to replace it. Check all of the wiring for damage and breaks before installing the new CDI.

When it gets hot it stops change the plug and it starts again but stops again

Check your motorcycle if it is CDI operated. If it is,then you replace the CDI itself.
But,if your motorcycle ic contact point operated, then you must replace the condenser.
