marzocchiworkshop.blogspot.com/p/oil-quantitys-and-levels_858.html Oil quantity's are measure in volume in 'cc', always use a narrow measuring jug for ...MY, Fork, Measurement, RH, LH .... 2001, Z-1 MCR QR20+ 01, Height (mm), both legs, 50 .... 2003, MX PRO COIL c.105 SSVF, Height (mm), both legs, 50.
Yahaha doesn't specify a certain amount. You need to measure the distance from the top of the tube to the fork oil, with the forks compressed all the way and the springs out. It should be 5.12 inches. Go to http://www.yamaha-motor-europe.com/community/service/manuals.jsp for the service manual and read pages 5.81 to 5.84
its 120 mm or 4.7 inches from the top of the fork
Some measure the oil quantity and fill the fork up, some fill the fork up and measure the oil level. The most correct method is to measure the level, I guess, but many guys measure in quantity.. both ways work well.
