Buy 5 quarts, put 4 quarts in, start the engine let run 20-30 seconds, wait 1 min to let oil drain back down in pan then check it. Add 1/4 of the 5th quart at a time untill the dipstick reads full.

Fuel tank, 17.2 gallons. Radiator capacity, 1.25 gallons. Oil capacity 4.5 quarts with the filter. Oil pressure, 20-50 psi.

Engine oil capacity is 6.0 liters, (inclusive oil filter).
If the car is 4matic, (4 x 4), then oil capacity is 6.5 liters, (inclusive oil filter).

5 qts. with new filter

To the best of my knowledge the capacity is 6qts with filter change. But...I would use 5qts, start it up and circulate oil, then add additional qt if needed. A tip on oil filters...wipe some oil on gasket to keep it from adhering to filter pad when installing. Also, if position installed allows, pre fill filter with oil before starting...dosen't have to be really full, but any oil in there is less air that hast to be expelled before oil reaches crankshaft.
