I nead kawasaki zzr 400 seal oil,valve guides& head gas ket

to check the Valve lay the stem on a flat surface ( a piece of window glass is best) then roll it and watch for a bend in the stem. if it is in the head of the valve, use a little valve lapping compound and turn it by hand a little and you will seee a bright spot on the seat area if it is bent close to the head of the valve.

depending on how bad the valve guides are worn as to whether just fitting new seals will solve the problem, if they are badly worn it is better to replace them, you will most likely have to remove the head to replace the seals anyway & if the guides have to be replaced they have to pressed out & the new guides pressed in, it might be worth doing seeing as the head is off anyway to make sure that it is done properly.....hope this helps......cheers.

if it is blue smoke it is oil,what is happening is when the engine stands overnight the oil runs down through the valve seals & into the cylinders hence the smoke when you first start the engine you will most likely need to recondition the head ( new valve guides & seals plus a valve grind) it may be cheaper to fit a reconditioned head.....hope this helps.....cheers

there is not a manual for the zzr 400 so use the zzr 600 everything is the same except from the carbs and the head

It sounds like your bike is burning oil due to rings getting old or sleeves to the valves are warned out .
check how smoky your kawa is first .
if at high revs your bike is smoky heavely your rings could be getting tired or valves guides are warned .

If it's definitely oil-smoke (blue-white) it might be worn rings/bores that were the problem or possibly the valve-guides themselves.
What mileage is on the bike?
I assume the oil-level is ok, not too high.
Could also be a head-gasket fault.
If you do a lot of short runs it could also be condensation build-up
coming out as steam, sounds daft but maybe v0v
