does the bike turn on .. like lights and all? does it role over but just wont fire? if lights and everything come on then it would be a tip over sensor. i had same prob, laid bike down going very slow... got it back up wouldnt start just rolled over if i rememeber right. turned the key of then back on and sensor had reset...... try disconnecting the battery for a few, then reconnect it and try it.

you didnt say if the bike sat up for a while, if it has you have stopped up carbs the bike will run with the choke on but shut off when the choke is off says no fuel going thru the low speed jets clean them by taking the float bowls off and blowing them out with high pressure air

SOURCE: TROUBLE STARTING BIKE HELP

1. Remove the plug from the cylinder.

2. Put the plug wire cap on the removed plug.

3. Have a buddy push down several times on the kick starter
while you look at the end of the plug for a spark.

This works best in a dim or dark garage.

SOURCE: Honda Varadero 125. Not starting.

Hi !
First check if the current is coming from ignition coil....
If YES ... then the spark plug is burnt(shorted) Get new plugs.
If NO... then there could be a problem with the ignition coil itself Or the coil in the dynamo is burnt.... Regards
Berry

I have a peugeot elyseo 100cc scooter and it won't start! it was working fine then just cut out with low reves. and now it won't start. i've cleaned the carb countless times, and the petrol...

with 2 stroke engines there is 3 things that you need petrol air and spark if you have them the bike will run you say you have cleaned the carb have you checked the air box the filter could be blocked restricting the amount of air in also have you checked the spark plug remove it and see if you get a spark place the plug onto the engine so thats its touching some metal and try and strart the bike you should get a nice fat spark if you dont then replace the plug if you do have a look at it is it oily and black if so the the air screw on the carb needs turning 1/2 a turn inwards if its white then 1/2 turn out if it looks ok the check for compression place your finger over the hole in the engine where the plug came out and try and start the bike your finger should be pulled gently into the hole if not then the piston ring has either cracked or snapped and will need replacing
if all this is ok spray some easy start into the air box and kick the bke over it should start if it does then a new carb might be needed

hope this helps

I have a 1990 yamaha 100 cc 4 wheeler and we replaced the spark plug and cleaned out the carb and its turning over but wont start. I know the spark is fine but it just wont turn over, any ideas? maybe...

If the spark is fine, then it is not wiring. It is going to more than likely be fuel. Try spraying a little starting fluid in the air filter. If it starts, then you will know that it is fuel. Make sure that the carb is getting fuel from the tank. A lot of times the filter in the tank will get plugged up. If the bike doesn't start with starting fluid, then the problem is not fuel and will have to be either the timing is off or not enough spark. The spark should be blueish purple.

Bike not firing properly, plugs fouled

If you used the choke to start the bike last winter, you probably fouled the plugs. Depending on the age of the plugs, you can either clean and re-gap them or replace them with new, which also have to be checked for gap.
Secondly, if you did not run the bike out of fuel after starting it, chances are you have some build up in the carb jets. New, clean fuel and Techron or Seafoam gas treatment will help if it's not too bad. Follow directions on the can. I personally used Seafoam but Techron is recommended by Honda. Be sure to mix per instructions, which on Seafoam is 1 oz. per gal.
