Yamaha Majesty 400 ABS and V-belt indicator lights flash on
I washed my new Yamaha Majesty 400 ABS scooter with a car wash power hose, concentrating on the front and rear wheel axis. Big mistake! Since then, the sporadic problem is: the ABS light comes on and the speedometer and milage counter stop working. After a few miles the V-belt light comes on, as it does so, the bike looses power (as if it drops a gear). The problem comes and goes, despite leaving the bike in the sun for prolonged periods. Any ideas? Could water have seeped into an area and got trapped?
