Front will be remove cover on top of master cylinder on handlebars and rear the same on rear master cyliner reservoir right behind brake pedal assemly.
I would remove one of the rear lines at the master cylinder and both at the brakes. Then blow compressed air through the line at the master cylinder. Then all you have to do is look for the big mess of brake fluid, and you'll know which is which.
There should be an adjustment on the stop or the pushrod that goes into the master cylinder. You must have a bit of freeplay in the master cylinder pushrod to insure that the rear brake is releasing completely.
If the Master Cylinder BORE size is the same as the bore size required for the caliper you want to replace it with, then YES, you can use your existing Master Cylinder.
