SOURCE: bike runs in neutral but cuts out when a gear is selected.

Your sidestand switch kills the engine if the bike is put in gear with the sidestand down. If your stand is up and this is happening either the switch is broken or out of position. If it is broken you can twist the wires together until you can replace the switch. If it is just bent out of position you can bend it back carefully.

SOURCE: i have a 1996 kx 250 that will not select 4th gear

Selecter forks could be damaged, gear shift shaft bent, return spring faulty, clutch dragging maybe! Try rocking it backwards and forwards engine off and see if you can find that gear! Good Luck - The Yeti

SOURCE: gear shift moves up and down wont select gears .

You have an internal problem with the shift mechanism. You will need to remove the clutch cover to identify what is broken. It is rare that you can't fix a problem such as this from behind the clutch cover.(ie no need to split the crankcase).pull of the clutch cover & look to see if when you try to select gears if the selector drum turns. It should then be apperent what has gone wrong.(circlip fallen off, selector drum actuator or spring broken)
If you find something broken you need to find all broken pieces before it goes back together so it/they don't find there way into the gearbox or BANG your gearbox will go.
Hope this helps

SOURCE: I have a gsxr 750 k7, sometimes when I first start

could be clutch, but check for bent shifter lever or adjustment. Indicator switch could be faulty but you would see it more with neutral light coming on false. If you bang gears (power shift ) or clutchless shift the dog could be bad also

2006 Husqvarna TE 610. No spark on my TE 610. I replaced the CDI. That was okay, the stator in the flywheel and it was misdiagnosed by the guy so

Question edited for FULL year make model, plus edited to what I think you thought you were saying.. There were many places to add punctuation which gives different meaning. The statement of the problem ends abruptly and still doesn't make sense.

You need a better mechanic!

CDI can be checked.
Stator can be checked.
Coils can be checked.
Check plug, the cap and the leads.

My clutch is slipping on my 2000 husqvarna te 610 ,can i adjust it or do i need new plates?

The cluch contro level must have a 0,12 do 0,20 in. idle shifting before beginning to disengange the cluch. to adjust: Loosen the lock nut wath stay after lever on the cluch line. If its loosen operate the adjuster. The slack decreases when unscrewing, and increases when screwing. Take care to tighten properly the lock nut. if its not helping more. change the cluch disc`s.

I have a 93 te 610 goes great but needs a piston i wana get it registered. is it worth and if i change oil all tha time well after a few rides will it handle daily road work

hi matey,,pistons are cheaper than u think m8,, so yeah id go 4 one,, and on the daily road work u were askin,, it will handle wot u give it m8,of corse doin road work instead of off roading ,it will sound and feel as if u could do with another gear puttin in,, cause the roads are more straighter than tracks,,, try not to keep the throttle wide open on straight roads all the time,, u wont have a problem,, ,,the usual way to try and reduce the i could do with another gear i think solution,, and u feel u want to put a gear in ,,getting a bigger back sprocket ,,a few teeth more than u have on the bike already, will gear it down a bit, and sound more relaxed wen riding,, hey enjoy mate ,,,itl be fun,,,cheers,

No Netural on 1995 610 water cooled

It sounds very much like a worn gear selector , which is not good news ; however try adjusting the clutch as sometimes the plates can stick in damp weather especially if you haven't been using the bike much.
Not much help i'm afraid but if you have a manual read what it says on the gear selector forks .
