My 2003 Suzuki Volusia bogging, backfire and popping through the carburetor .and though the tailpipe when bogging I have to hold the throttle open and black smoke comes out then it clears up an starts running ok till I try revving it up. I changed the air filter with an aftermarket one not sure if I got some bad gas how do I clean the carburetor? @
Can be timeimg or bad cdi but sounds like the vavles r to tight or can be bent . cheek vavles gap resit thim and at the same time you can cheek timeing
Hi,before you start takeing the carbs appart just check that the ignition timeing is ok,
