No spark at the spark plugs Yamaha R1

There is no spark at the plugs. Why not?

hi buddy there located underneith the tank you have to remove seat bolts from tank and tilt the tank up then you will see 4 things in the top off the engine pul these black caps off and the spark plugs will be below them you will require a ratchet,extension bar,spark plug socket and that it buddy

hi although it is a bit tight for space the least parts removed the better, with the middle fiarings removed you should see the top of the cylinder heads, remove each cap 1 at a time and replace the plugs using the spannner in the bikes tool kit, if this way proves to difficult you will have to prop up the fuel tank, remove airbox and get at the plugs this way,paul
