2002 kawasaki ninja 250 motor on ATV need wiring help

Your need a workshop manual and a wiring diagram. The plastic piece sounds like the CDI trigger coil.

Hi Thomas:
My sympathies re your bike getting stolen.
There will undoubtedly be a way to bypass the ignition but you must appreciate that anyone posting that information would really be contributing to the potential theft of a lot more bikes.
Also, since the amount of damage is unknown, doing any hot wiring could lead to more problems.
If you had insurance, the cost of moving the bike should be covered.
If you didn't, I'd recommend getting some buddies with a pickup truck, some straps, and the promise of beer and pizza when the bike gets into your shop.

i would suspect a safety switch issue but a good wiring diagram and a test light will help you out here...

The wires from the switch should be color coded. The same is true of the wires for the signals, headlight and switch. Just hook up the like colored wires

If it was flooded it should resolve itself after a short amount of time stood, left alone. Have u checked the spark plugs etc are still connected properly. Maybe you knocked the engine cut of switch when you dropped it, should be a red switch on the throttle side of the handlebars.
