Classic storage problem is moisture entering, coalescing, condensing in petrol and in electrical circuits what you' v done is right but try WD40 on low & high tension side of ignition and a dose of easy start, once running give a good run and store with cling film over open ports with a acumen type charger left on.

Want to lower my trident.

This is a tall order. Everything about is fine tuned to be the bike youj see. If you change anything, you are really changing everything. If it doesnt fit you, I suggest you look for a bike that is a better fit. Of course, the triumps you have is quite a bike ... itis tall. You might want to consider a Honda Aero or a similar HD, Yamana or Suzuki. I like my Aero.

If its only happening when moving and your feeling vibrations in your feet. Check your chain is not to tight. You could also have worn chain and sprockets. If not that then check rear wheel bearings and rear brake pads for heavy ware.

Be sure the battery took full charge. Sounds like a crook battery. If this is good look towards the solinoid for the starter motor. It should have a fuse, you may have tripped.

Trident 900 - No Acceleration

The only times my 'dent had no acceleration, it wasn't firing on all 3. Easy check: start the bike, let it idle for a couple minutes, spray water from a spray bottle on each header. Chances are, there'll be a cold header from a cylinder not firing due to a bad coil.
