The main fuse is under the panel on the right side behind the forks and the rest of the fuses are in the crank case under the cover...where you fill the oil.

I have a feeling I really messed up. I had a guy jumpstart my dead battery on my 2001 Suzuki intruder 1500lc while his vehicle was running. The bike kept shutting off prior to this and the battery ended up getting weak from turning it over. Once the jumpers were hooked up I lost everything. No lights absolutely nothing. I checked the fuses on the right lower side of the bike under the chrome cover and they are all good. Now I'm stuck I've read some things about the ECU could have gotten fried

MOST OF THE TIME THE FUSE BOX IS UNDER THE SEAT AND NOT HARD TO GET TO

SOURCE: fuse box

You are sitting on the motorcycle, that's what we call right and left. Remove the left side cover, look near the middle and you will see a black rectangular box mounted sideways. It has a phillips head screw in the middle. On the end of the box that faces the front of the bike it should say FUSE (it may have dust over the words). Remove the screw and pop the plastic box off, the fuses are under there - 4 or 5 of them. This is for a 1992 1400cc suzuki intruder, but the designs haven't changed much over the years. SOURCE: Suzuki intruder 1500 charging system

You need to buy a volt meter and set it on 10, or 20 v-. Start the bike and see what it says. A good charging system will show 13-14+ volts. If the meter says 11-12 volts or does not change, you have a bad stator, or rect/reg. Take to a shop to have it further tested. Chaz Moto DC
