Noisy gear I finally got to ride my bike yesterday and instantly fell in love with it. One thing that I did notice was that the gearbox seemed to make more noise than my XR400 makes. It did not sound like things were coming apart just a little bit noisier than the XR. Is this normal for this bike? It also sounded like there was a lot of backlash noise when I would hit the rear brake with the clutch in. I did check the chain tension and it was normal. I am almost sure all of it is normal for this bike but I thought I would throw it out there to see if anyone else has noticed it. Thanks

Yep normal. All my KTM's do that. I don't even hear it anymore because it's mentally filtered out. ;),

Rear wheel locked while riding, gearbox seems fine as it will go into neutral and through the other gears. Kickstart now wont go down as it seems jammed ?

sounds like you have something lose or broken in gearbox..or clutch or kickstart workings.....i would not ride this bike till you know for sure whats up & its fixed!!....1st thing to try is take clutch cover off & inspect to see if you can see anything broke ..this does need pulling down to sort as the bike may well do again when riding it...you may even need to pull the gearbox.cluster out/in bits to check..this means engine out & pull in bits......
