I have a 1973 Yamaha 360 Enduro VIN/RT1-134437. I'm going to sell it and wanted to see if there are any other specific letters for the model type (DT, etc)

I HAVE JUST FOUND A 360 ENDURO. THE MOTOR # IS DT1F124237 & THE # ON THE FRAME IS RT113396. WHAT DO I EXACTLLY HAVE?

Could be you have a RT 360 frame, with a DT 360 motor in it. The RT was before the DT. Do some searching on the net for yamaha RT models.

When 1973 enduro is in higher gear the bike revs

Yes, it does sound like a clutch, but make sure you have a little free play in the clutch lever. Age will make the clutch plates deteriorate.
You need to remove the right side engine cover to get at it. Take your time and note where all of the pieces are. Pre-soak the new clutch plates (The ones with fiber on them) in oil before you install them.
