I have a 2005 Yamaha v star 1100 fuel comes out of over flow when you are at idle but running fine when you ride it it has new floats valves and cleaned carb.what next
Take it back to the person that did the work,,,if a professional didn't do it,, TAKE IT TO ONE!!(Float level is too high!)

Hey Peter... I am NOT wanting to downplay your mechanical skills... but if you can't remove the the headlight housing.. you really NEED to TAKE this to a QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL..(it will be cheaper in the long run!!)

I keep fouling plugs on my 2005 vstar 1100 classic tried going a step hotter but they still foul after a very short time? exhaust is open was that way when I bought it
Just a thought. is your air filter clean? A dirty filter will make it burn more fuel and cause the plugs to foul.Is your choke working properly? Both of these will foul plugs and use more fuel.
