How do you jump start

These days with solid state electronics on board,I not jumpstart anything.unplug headlight, get someone to push the bike up to 5 mph, pull clutch in put in second gear pop cluch n roll start.Make sure key is on and kill switch in run position. Also, this will only work if battery has some life and at least 10v.Most all electrical systems need 10 v or better for ignition to work.If you choose to jump start with another battery make sure polarity on battery is hooked up properly and connect ground terminal first then positive on bike and then hook up other end same way.good luck....

How to jump start a fjr1300

To get access to the battery, which I is under that black plastic just to the right of the gas tank. You will find 2 Phillips or hex screws that needs to be undone on the top, then you will find 2 plastic pop attachers that need to be un popped. Then then plastic cover will come of fairly easy with a little jimmying around
