What is the recommended method

First of all, check, if the oil is now way fuller than before - if you left the petcock on PRI the gearbox is now full with a gaz-oil-mix! You need an oilchange. (and check the airfliter of excess gaz, too)Recharge the battery. Now, if that's ok, (petcock always on ON), pull out the choke and start the motor.2 month is not very long, should be fine, especially when you put Sta-Bil in the gaz tank before winter.----Owner of a Suzuki DR200SE V (V stands for 1997)

The filter box on my 1996 200 se keeps filling

Your carburetor is overflowing gas. Your carburetor should be disassembled and cleaned. Inspect the float and float needle and seat. You may have to replace one or both to get the fuel to shut off. If the float sinks when placed in gasoline replace it. Just replace the needle and seat assembly as a precaution. The only other source of gas in the air box and often the engine crankcase, is caused by a leaking diaphragm on the fuel petcock. If the diaphragm is cracked or has a hole in it , replace the diaphragm or the petcock assembly (if that is the only way it is available) and the leak should be fixed. It is always a good idea to turn your fuel off when not riding. Even a motorcycle in perfect working order can sometimes have a float needle stick and fill the engine with gasoline. Be sure to check that your oil has not been contaminated with fuel. If it has you will need to change your oil also.

When i get it cranked and let it warm up... Ill go

Pretty common issue with dirt bikes. Most likely the carb just needs a good cleaning. I clean mine every spring before even firing them up for the first time. It's a 20 minute job. Also make sure you are using fresh fuel. If there was old gas in the tank from when you put it away, it may have absorbed moisture so it requres more gas to actually idle (choke on). Do not just dump some moisture chemical like "Heat" in it. Drain the gas and put fresh stuff in it.

What grade of oil is required for a dr200

All oils must meet the standards of the US government Department of Weights and Measures . Just use the better known brands like Shell, Mobil, Pennzoil, Quaker State, etc.. Do not get the ones with "Special" additives. NEVER use synthetics. Some of the additives and most of the synthetics will swell the cork on the clutch friction plates. Then the clutch will not disengage and now it is time for new friction plates. Use 10w40 motor oil and you are doing good. Please rate my answer. Thanks!

I have a suzuki qaodrunner160

The timing should not need to be adjusted. Most problems with the 160 Suzuki involve the carburetor. Make sure you have spark, pull the spark plug, hook the wire to it and ground the base against the engine. Crank the motor and see if the plug sparks. If it does, your problem is probably the carburetor. Pull the carb down and clean it. Pay special attention to the pilot jet and it's passages. Do not use wire to clean the jets and passages, use a spray carb cleaner and compressed air. Pay special attention to the passage in the float bowl that feeds the starter circuit. It will be a hole at the gasket edge of the float bowl that goes to the bottom of the bowl. There is a small orofice in that passage that is easily blocked, and when blocked, makes the engine real hard to start and keep running until the engine is warm. Good luck

Hi i have a 93 dr250 motorbike and i am lossing

Hi !
Just get new washer rings for the 2 bolts.
They have hardened and craked with wear and tear and heat. In high heat and pressure the oil becomes very thin and leaks through the cracked washers.
Your problem will be solved.

Where is the rectifier located on my 2004 suzuki katana 600

Behind the radiator on the left side. It is the device with cooling fins, even though the electronic parts are embedded in rubber paste. The location isn't ideal and sudden defects leave people stranded so what people do is relocate the regulator/rectifier to a cooler place. Perhaps to the air inlet, under the air filter. Follow the three, mostly, yellow cables that originate from the stator when you don't find it behind the radiator.

Why my Suzuki TF 125 losses power in the midway? What are the causes for such loss of power?

What do you mean by "Midway"? How old is this motorbike? What exactly did you do to clean the carburettor? Is it a new spark plug and a new, clean air filter? Did you empty the fuel tank to remove the fuel tap to clean the filter on the inside of the tap? Is it doing anything else? Things like - is it hard to start, has heavier exhaust smoke or it has a rough and uneven idle.
