normal temp is between 85- 95 depending on outside temp and speed travelling,fans will normally switch on around 103-105 degrees celcius

I'm sorry to say that it's the dogs on the gears (the bits which engage into slots on idle gears)
After a while the edges of the dogs & slots get worn & the engine will jump out of gear especially under hard load
It's a gearbox strip & UK£80+ per gear, off which you will probably need 4 or more

that is a single unit on that bike called the regulator/rectifier. usually located in the tail section of the bike mounted to the subframe by two 10mm bolts

is the fan running ?, you can check it by finding the fan switch and shorting the contacts to make the fan run..if the fan runs and it still overheats you "maybe " looking at a headgasket problem...

Have you checked the clutch and kickstand switches? Do you have a spark going to your plugs?

Try to pry it off evenly. Its a real strong magnet. It will feel like something is holding it on.....there is not.

Just spray a lot of DW40 sray in it! Let it work for a 5 minutes and work the switch up and down left and right. IT WILL WORK. Unless there is a wire cut, you are ok

It will depend on how far you want to take it. A "refresh" will cost thousands. but a basic tune up {assuming its fuel injected" will cost about 300. This will be plugs oil and clutch adjustment. some shops will adjust the vaulves too.

What the shop will charge for installing the parts is up to the shop. Parts cost should be close to what is seen below.

your oil pump sounds like its going out

disconnect the wires,clean each terminal with a fine grade emery cloth, and reconnect.then give a very lite spray of wd40 to the connection.

First replace the clutch,clutch basket,and throw out bearing that has been destroyed,check the cable for damage and if you still have the same problem,Then check the kick stand switch.

It quite simple. Loosen the recessed hex bolt that secures the pads but dont remove. Then remove the two bolts holding the caliper to the fork leg and slide away from the disc. Remove the recessed hex bolt and old pads and fit new pads in same fashion as the old pads. You may need to push back the pistons to fit the thicker new pads, be careful not to damage the pistons.

check the handlebar mounted switch to be sure it wasnt damaged or any wires broken from the accident.

Question edited for clarity. Question moved to model category. A C42 is an error in the ignition system that uses a 100 Ohm resistor to prevent hot wiring the bike. The usual problem is a connection to the ignition switch gets loosened or broken so the resistance value is greater than 100 Ohms.

I would normally it is probably stuck, but the starter motor doesn't have the normal bendix on a spiral grooved shaft. It looks like it is permanently connected. I tried to see if there was some type of starter clutch behind it, and there is. It should release when the starter stops spinning.

First impression was why would anyone rev their motorcycle to 9 grand in neutral? I could see if you were in gear clutch pulled and ready for a "drag" or Race Start but in neutral?

Anyway I can't hear it so if the sound is like it hits 9k and starts popping then two things either an over rev limiter which I doubtr because the engine red lines at 13,500 OR you have a set of spark plugs breaking down under load
