Fuel mixing with oil in crankcase
Answer #1 is spot on! Get the carbs professionally cleaned and set. They will inspect the needle/seat assemblies (or SHOULD) and replace as necessary.
How do the fuel lines run on a 99 gsxr 600
Have you turned the fuel tap on (If it has one)? As far as I can remember, there are only 2 lines ( Feed and Return) check that the one with the filter in it is going to the "fuel in" line on the carbs.
Low beams dont work on my 98 GSX-R
more than likely it is nothing more than a blown low beam fillament in the globe apart from that the system may be fused on both high & low beam however Im not to sure about that on this model
Just Won't Start :o(
Hi and welcome to
FixYa,
The click is significant. This indicates that the starting relay is engaging but for some reason, the starter motor is not cranking. This could either indicate a faulty starter relay (
particularly the contacts) or a faulty starter motor (
specifically, the carbon brushes). To determine which:
- with the side covers off, expose the starter relay particularly the 2 large terminals;
- have somebody start the bike normally using the key and button start switch;
- determine if indeed the clicking is coming from the starter relay;
- while the start button is still pressed, jump the 2 big terminals;
- if the engine cranks, then the internal contacts of the starter relay are corroded or burned;
- if the engine will not crank, then the starter motor is faulty.
Good luck and thank you for using
FixYa.

Your Suzuki has a fuel valve, it is an automatic valve and has no lever on it to manually turn on or off fuel flow. These valves are prone to failure from sticking and this causes the engine to run out of gas. The valve is located in the underside of the fuel tank, you must drain the tank and replace the valve to correct your problem, the fuel tank is secured at the seat end with bolts, remove them and slide the tank rearward to release from front slide in rubber mounts. Be sure to mark each hose and where it goes before you remove them, this is very important! Below is the part number and price of the valve and a picture. I will also include a parts site web link for the factory parts for your bike at greatly reduced prices from the dealer for most parts.

Locate wire block at ignition switch, using a test light or multimeter check red wire for 12 volts dc, if you have no voltage here, you will have to trace the wire back to the battery and fusebox some models have a circuit breaker on the underside of the battery box, or in the imidiate area, its a 2 wire breaker with a transparrent cover and a red dot in the centre, push at this point to reset, have you checked the fuse at the solenoide 30 amp, if you do have power at the red, turn the ignition switch to the park position as the bike has a seperate live to the rear light, it should light(this will also proove you have power at the ignition)

Hi,
Yes you could get the roller bearing for the front wheel.
Try to remove the two bearing and clean the side of that bearing, you could see the number type of that roller bearing. Tell the number or bring the sample in the nearest parts store and surely they have that part.
Just remember when installing it back, dip/soaked that bearing to any motor oil for an hour.
Hope that helps you out.
Thanks for using FixYa!
