I have a 94 suzuki rf 900 that only fires on two

Follow the coil wires, (the ones attached to the spark plugs), to the coils. One side of each coil should have a wire that goes to ground, possibly right to the bolt holding the coils to the frame. Make sure those wires are hooked up and grounded. There will be other wires going to the coils that are not grounded, do not ground those.

Is three layers of jb weld too much to put on a crankcase with a hole in it?....applications are 4-5 days apart

Personally I think it could be a nasty way to find out if it hold or not - by riding it. I would not risk such a repair with the consequences in mind, I would have to get it fixed by replacing the crankcase, Security of mind wouldn't allow me to attempt a repair (unless it is a very very small hole - and even then I couldn't ride with peace of mind). Safety first. Just my opinion. I don't think there is a correct answer for this problem apart from the costly answer - replace the damaged crankcase.

I just bought a 1994 suzuki RF900, i was told that the previous owner purposfully drained the oil to have some minor damage looked at. So, naturally I tried putting oil in her and it all leaked out th

It does appear to me that the crankcase must be holed somewhere. That is the moist likely reason the previous owner drained it (or rather it all ran out). I would have a good visual look at the crank case to see if there is an obvious hole. If it is damaged then it would obviously need a new crank case but first, take the fairing off and have a look.

Where is the oil plug on a 94 Suzuki RF900R

Underneath the engine, you will see a circular machined and finned disk with a nut in the center, that is the oil filter housing the magnetic drain plug is to the side of this filter molding. When you take out the drain plug clean the metal debris off before refitting and use a new copper or fiber washer. Hope this helps good luck.

Suzuki rf 900

It could be worn emulsion tubes as they can 'oval' after a while (45,000 miles+). If they are ovalled it's a case of carbs off, float bowls off, unscrew the main jet screw, pop the diaphragm lids off, remove the diaphragm and slides and push the emulsion tubes out through the top. Put new ones in, in reverse order

Static and dynamic test stator. (3 yellow wires) should have continuity from lead to lead and not from lead to ground. If stator checks good, replace regulator rectifier assembly.

Flush the radiator. Use something like Prestone's radiator flush for cars. then refill with MOTORCYCLE COOLANT. this is important. the manual says you can use any coolant compatible with aluminum radiators. I did this and replaces 2 radiators before I figued it out. if this doesnt work, have the radiator tested. Also, I had a problem with the fan melting and not even knowing it. muzzy's makes a 6blade aluminum fan cheaper than the stock plastic replacement.
