Check your clutch cable. If it is dragging, binding, not fully engaging for a few seconds, it is time to replace it.
How do i put my dirt bike in time i no that there
You have to consult the specifications in the manual on the bike and line it up with flywheel at top dead center. There is a notch on the flywheel showing tdc and then line up at the appriate position on the cam sprocket.
Running better in cold
Cold air is denser and you'll get more air in the bike, and the engine compensates with more fuel. It's cold as hell at 20F outside, but damn does the bike run crisp!
I have klr 250 timing issue, what can I do?
Hi Dave:
I just bought my first KLR yesterday and a service manual came with it.
Check the milage on yours??????
Really ony 2,200? That's barely broken in and amazing for a '94.
The hiss from the airbox would indicate a bad intake valve or at least that I would be checking compression to start trying to figure it out.
The ignition quit working took
Hi,
Check the starter, wire connection harness and starter solenoid.
That high amp means a power that was being drain by the solenoid or the starter motor.
Disconnect the wire terminal of the starter and connect your ignition, you will see that it will not drain power from your battery and solve your fuse popping.
Then pull down the starter, overhaul it and clean/lubricate the bushing.
If you can't do the starter a mechanic can do it for you.
Hope that helps you.
Thanks for using FixYa!
