HI, THE TROUBLE WITH BRAKES ON THE OLDER BIKES IS COMMON, AND NOT UNUSUAL FOR THIS TO HAPPEN ON A YEARLY BASIS, MY THOUGHTS ON THIS ARE THE BRAKE CLEANER WILL ONLY REMOVE LOOSE BRAKE DUST ETC, THE TYPE OF STICKING YOU ARE GETTING IS BEST CURED BY REMOVING THE CALIPERS FROM THE FORKS AND CHECKING FOR FREE MOVEMENT OF ALL PARTS, SLIDERS, PISTIONS, PADS, ETC IT MAY BE THIS TIME YOU WILL ONLY HAVE TO SERVICE 1 CALIPER,NO NEED TO REMOVE BRAKE LINES OR DISTURB THE PRESSURISED SYSTEM. WITH 1 CALIPER REMOVED GENTLY PULL IN THE BRAKE LEVER AND CHECK OPERATION OF PISTONS, DO NOT PUSH OUT ALL THE WAY AS THIS WILL CAUSE THE FLUID TO LEAK OUT OF THE SYSTEM, PUSH THE PISTONS BACK HOME GENTLY WITH SOME GRIPS TAKING CARE NOT TO DAMAGE PAINTWORK ON CALIPER OUTER, A SLIGHT RESISTANCE SHOULD BE FELT, IF YOU HAVE TO USE EXTREME FORCE THEN THE CALIPER WILL NEED A COMPLETE SERVICE, PEPEAT OPERATION ON OTHER CALIPER, PAUL
Noisey gearchange
Hi Al,
I know you are looking for feedback and I hope I can help.
I have a FLHR Road King Harley Davidson and believe me It clunked real bad when I bought it (7,000 miles), I checked the clutch primary chain, well within tolerance, also Clutch plates too.
I know your engine is wet sump and the gearbox uses the same oil as the engine?
I changed my gearbox oil and also double checked level as the amount that came out wasn't enough?
Since then pure smooth cold & Hot, so maybe the wrong viscosity oil? Nice & Thick cold but when thinned due to warm up and at operating temp not coating the gears so bulk rings failing slightly?
There you go one to look at?

Tyre presure
The pressures should be listed in your manual depending on the type of tyres (tires?) you're using. Set this pressure and away you go. It will list details of what to change if you have a pillion passenger but as far as I'm aware the pressure quoted should work both with and without
I have a 1996 ZZr600. It tends to stall when
It would seem as if you have the idle set too low. When the lights are on it is putting more strain on the engine, so when it is idling it causes the engine speed to fall too low.
No spark
It is either the stator, pulse generator, or CDI. My guess would be the CDI
How do you replace clutch on kawasaki zzz 600?
*
Turn the clutch adjustment knob all the in allowing slack in the cable.* Remove the clutch lever from the perch by removing the pivot bolt. (you will find that after you remove the pivot bolt)* Move the tip of the clutch opposite of normal operation until it is pointing strait forward, it puts the lever in position to release the cable. The perch removal and replacement is strait forward. Just put it back together the opposite way and adjust the free-play in you clutch as the manual states.-IRC Motorcycle Tires combined with good
