Assuming you've probably got a hydraulic clutch, I'd recommend bleeding the system first to make sure there's no air causing it to not release all the way. If it's the other way around (i.e. it disengages too quickly while squeezing the lever -- make sure it's not worn out -- an overly-thin clutch disk could cause that symptom). As a last resort, if everything's working properly and you're still not happy, try a set of adjustable levers!

First of all check what is the voltage at the battery when the engine is running, at idle and at some elevated RPM? this problem is caused when the charging system isn't working and/or the battery is shot. But you have already replaced the battery so other then this what happens is :--the lights essentially run off the battery IIRC and if the charging system can't supply enough voltage to charge the battery, then this problem occurs, so the problem cause should be corroded contacts/wiring in the charging circuit. check the wirings properly and clean the contacts.
