To lose the switches job, cut the 2 wires and twist them together, this will complete the circuit and the bike will think the kick stand is up, I did this, and do you know how many times I took off with the kick stand down??? Lots!! They make a kit that will fix this, it will start with the kickstand down, but kill the engine if it is put in gear.
I have a gpx600r on a g plate which on low revs
first do a compreshion test on the engine it may be one of the pots is low on compreshion,, ie: a velve has burnt out or is leaking badly or it may be that the carbereters need to be striped down and the slow running jets need to be cleaned out,, if its a slow running jet blocked it wont run at low revs on that pot
Aquired a 1985 gpz600r cleaned carbs new fuel
First take that 3 rd carb off, the needle and seat is stuck in the open position, the float may be rubbing on the inside of the float bowl cover, or the float setting is out of adjustment (too rich) either way the fuel to the bowl is not shutting off as it fills, the needle and seat must be forced shut by the gas filling the float chamber raising the float and pushing the needle up into the seat. Sometimes the float has been compromised put it in a cup of gas to ensure it floats and is not a sinker. reassemble and check for the fuel over flow if it still over flows your problem has not been solve this issue must be adressed first for the bike to run right otherwise that one cylinder is going to foul and the bike will never run right.
The bike starts up but will not rev up when
Has it been sitting for a long time (a year or more)? If so, then the carburetors are plugged with fuel varnish and need to be disassembled and cleaned out. If it runs better with the choke on, this is a sure sign that the carbs are plugged.
If it hasn't been is storage, then try draining the fuel from the float bowls. Sometimes an accumulation of water in them will get to the point that fuel will no longer be drawn through the jets. Also make sure that the valve tappet clearances are set correctly and make sure there are no air leaks between the carburetors and the engine (with the engine idling, spray WD-40 around the intake manifolds, any change in idle speed indicates an air leak).
Finally, if all of the above fails to remedy the problem, perform a compression check on the engine. With the throttle wide open, you should see at least 140 psi of compression in each cylinder. Less than that means the engine needs serious mechanical attention.
Dont change gears
Are you a Technician, and have sufficient tool to complete the task? If yes then you dont need any manual as it is by experience you can manage to repair the Gear Box.
Change fork seals Kawasaki GPZ 400

Before you attempt to take out the ignition, call a dealer and ask him if they can get you a key for your bike by using the VIN as reference. Harley and some metrics can do it this way.
No fire to the motor
check coil or wire from coil. could be blown fuse or bad brain...aka CDI in which case you could open it after locating it and possibly discover a bloated capacitor which you can snip off and solder in a new one for 2 bucks. at a radio shack or electronics parts store
Motorbike wont move
sidestand lockout switch is sticking...bike thinks that you're trying to ride away with the stand down so it kills the sparks.
