Shock absorber

all depends on your weight and what type of terrain your going on , trial and error so just adjust to suit your needs ! while standing on the pegs bounce up and down and make sure the front and rear move at the same time !! test after each adjustment and keep a log of what you done ! slow rides need less responce and softer settings !

I have flat slide carby on my Husqvarna and beside the choke there is another lever which seems todo what the choke does, what is it for,and below it there is a turntable nob which I figure is an idle

take plug out to check for fire, if you have fire turn screws all the way in and back off a turn and a half. Fire it up and adjust

Putting a clutch together

hi there you need to take the clutch cover off after draining the oil ,remove the bolts going into the clutch basket take the springs out as well if you have the cash put in new springs when installing the clutch ,after you take the outer off then take out the plates and have acheck on size and wear ,then there should be a large nut and lock washer tap down the tab that stops the nut spinning loose then put your foot on the back brake and undo the nut this will be very tight if you have a air rattle gun this makes life a lot easier .then replacing the clutch basket it would be good sense to put a new bearing in the clutch houseing then put it back together in the oposite direction cheers hopes this helps cheers

Coughing and splattering

have you had the dispack changed on any of this trips to the mechanic's as it sound to me to be this. it would take around 30 min for it to over heat if it had a fault. then you would get a low spark, no power and eventually just stop working all together.

Gas is not passing through the carporator

Most carbs have a filter in the inlet of the carb. Also the float could be sticking the needle and seat not allowing fuel flow.
