I have no power to the starter and the battery is good. are there any fuses?
Not on the line to the starter. But the starter switch probably works through a solinoid. If it's not on the starter it's some where between starter and battery . The starter switch must provide the signal to the solinoid. If the Starter switch or ignition switch are not getting "juice" look for bad connections and or a fuse box.

How do you remove the front wheel axle to remove
I had this exact bike. I loved it btw.
1. You'll have to remove the two hex key bolts on the calipers so you can pull the wheel off (I believe 8mm)
2. There are tow large nuts that just unthread from the axle tube itself.
3.Once nuts are off just tap the tube out. Wheel should be free to pull out.
4. Careful not to damage the speed sensor that see's the little pickups on the left hand rotor. This is for your speedo and is an expensive replacement part.
Just got a SMR 510, 2010 model year, first dirt
I had an 07 SMR 510. Loved that bike and I miss it all the time. I now own a Ducati 848 SF and still miss mah husky.
- I would change my oil and filter every 600-700 miles. It only holds a liter so it's gonna go dark faster.
- The air filter should be removed periodically (400miles or less) and cleaned in gasoline. It's a good idea to use filter oil on it (K&N filter oil works best)
-You'll want to call on these guys to order a valve shim kit
http://www.halls-cycles.com/. They're husky experts and can answer a myriad of maintenance questions.
- The valves probably need to be checked every 2000 miles or so to keep it running at peak. Single cylinder thumpers are valve maintenance intensive but checking and setting is pretty simple once you are used to doing it.
- Youtube is a good source for that stuff.
- Use chain lube after every 300 miles.
- Beyond that just keep it clean.
- Pop wheelies and live like a hooligan!!!
