Harley Davidson FLHX Street Glide - Recent Questions, Troubleshooting & Support
2008 Harley Davidson FLHX Street Glide will not start
The TSSM will not cause these symptoms. I would suggest you start from the beginning of the work you done. If the bike was operating correctly before the work was started, then for sure you have done something incorrectly. Check all fuses as is one of these is blown due to incorrect wiring, then the supply to the clock/tack could be compromised.
What does d1a9 fault code mean
It is not d1ag you are seeing, it is diag which stands for diagnostic. Press the reset button again to advance to the various sections. If this comes on every time you turn on ignition without pressing the odometer reset button, then the button is stuck on. Replace it.
Idle mode 2010 Harley Davidson FLHX Street Glide
Hi Tamara,
possible cause is the connector on the side of the throttle body. This connector will be facing towards the rear of the motorcycle just behind the air filter box. Disconnect it and spray a good quality switch cleaner with lubricant into the connector or use the HD contact grease and put a small amount into each contact hole. Then insert and remove the connector a couple of times before finally leaving it in position. I have got this fault a few times and this proved to be a cure.
2014 Harley Davidson FLHX Street Glide will it start without gauges connected
Hi, the bike should start with all the gauges disconnected. If the fob antenna is missing which is mounted by the battery then the security system will stop the bike from starting unless you have the 5 digit pin code. The main radio antenna that is mounted at rear of bike has nothing to do with security system.
