Use volt meter on battery and see if regulator/rectifier is fully charging battery. Should read over 13 volts at about 2500 rpms. if not , bad re/rec. If it does, then it's probably bad battery, take to local shop to test. Should be a free test at places like Autozone, Pep Boys etc.

hi this normal when an engine has not been used for a while the engine and more so the exhaust collects moister thus when engine start blowing the condensation out causing grey smoke to come out till the engine gets to normal temperature

In order to run smoothly an engine must have the correct air/fuel ratio and the correct ignition timing. A lean air/fuel mixture and/or advanced ignition timing can have a very big effect on the smoothness of an engine...

Check to see if the timing is set correctly.

Look for a shorted wire inside the handle bars.

might be two issues there relay clicking under the seat area or stator for battery recharge system faulty

Hi if you are talking about sliding the grips on,some people use a little mixture of water and washing up liquid,all the best.

With todays advanced waxes and silicons it is easy to find a protective that does both.But if you would feel better a good wax such as Macguires ora siicon based polish would be fine.Remember the idea is to provide the covering with the regular maintenance regularly;that way you provide the care that any finish needs.

the easyest thing would be to change the air filter to a more freer flowing style like K&N and a slip on a more free flowing muffler like a reverse cone megaphone

2. Tune your vehicle and get fuel especially from reputed brands like SHELL
3. If water has entered your fuel tank this will happen, I mean Backfire and no response. This is till the water or air clears you know
4. Service your vehicle from a person who is a specialist in Enfield's not any one.

have a bike electrician check it out I suspect that there is problem relay/regulator in the charging circuit that is allowing the alternator/generator to keep supplying power to the ignition outside the ignition switch circuit could be a shorted wire The dead batteries indicates this by discharging through the same fault.
