You have written some conflicting information. How can you know that your engine has no spark if it will not turn over? No problem, please write back and elaborate on its issue, symptoms, engine codes and things you have checked and tested so far. At this point I would start looking around. Inspect the battery and power distribution box. Check that the battery connections are clean and tight. Check that the ground cable, going to the body panel is clean and tight. Check all the fuses for damage (over heating or corrosion) and the same for the relays. Is the antitheft system working (does it recognize your ignition key?)? When you turn the ignition hey to the RUN position. Does the gauge cluster respond like it always does? Do you see the lights come on and go out and can you read the odometer mileage? Drunknm, If you need to improvise, try using a cable from a bicycle brake or shifter. New ones are available at Wal-Mart and you can cut them to length as they come with cable ends. Herb

Is it glass or lexon/plastic? Plastic can be polished with toothpaste or lens compound. If it's glass does it appear inside? If so you may need to pull the bulb (be ever so careful not to touch the bulb, oil from your fingers will burn it out) And clean it with alcohol. Good luck to you.
