How hard is it to change the serpentine belt in 2006 rendezvous
If the belt has fallen off there must be a problem. The don't just fall off of the car without assistance. With the belt off, check all of your pulleys to make sure they are turning properly. Then, get the manual for your vehicle and it will show you how to do this job :() Every car is different but all cars are the same generally and this is usually just a matter of putting the correct wrench into the tensioner to remove/apply tension and route the belt around everything in the proper direction.
There is usually a sticker in the engine compartment/hood area that shows the diagram of how the belt is routed.

1987 Jeep dies when temperature hits 180. Then it will start up after its sits for 30 minutes.
First you will need to determine if there is a problem with the electrical system or fuel system. Connect a fuel pressure gauge to the fuel rail to see if you have pressure when the vehicle dies. It it maintains pressure and the vehicle dies, then check to see if there is a spark issue. Fuel issue could be bad/weak fuel pump, bad relay or restriction in fuel delivery system. No spark could be ignition coil, bad computer, bad electrical connection or relay. To check these systems you need special meters and scanners. Best to take to a repair center.
