if the fan itself use a Digital Multi Meter check resistance of moter look online for good motor resistance. I would check the fan control relay the fan control fuse. look online for fuse diagrams and relay diagrams

hello first you need to check the bulb below the gear shift panel that is not blown then if available your book on your car has a listing page usually in back look for fuses go to page it should have a diagram for fuses see wich one is for illumination of your shifter check fuse replace if needed goodluck
