Just trying to see what a warning light means on my used 00 satrn sl, no owners manual was in car when purchased and the light is a box with an arrow pointing down at two wavy lines in the box

and lost the operators guide, 2x no joy, and will repeat, this.
why not get the oper. guide and keep it.?
why get stranded? , with no guide. ? (limitless bad,,, can happen)
some newer cars have 20 or more warnings, mine has like 100.
min has 15 lamps and then vast numbers on VFD possible.

Check your Coolant Level, it is probably low.

USUALLY THAT MEANS YOUR LOW ON COOLANT. IF YOUR NOT LOW AND STILL STAYS ON THE SWITCH IS BAD

Triangle with downward arrow is Coolant level.

It may be the temperature light. It's hard to say by your description. Take a look inside the owner's manual to confirm.

Hey.
Don't drive anywhere til you check your coolant level . I think you'll find that you are very low on antifreeze. Check the rad cap while the engine is COLD, hate to see you get scalded by hot fluid.
