I unplugged my batter to clean off corrosion. When I plugged it back in the cd player wouldnt work. It wont play a cd, load a cd or eject a cd. I have a 2004 jeep liberty with a in dash 6 cd changer. I can hear the motor trying to change or load a cd but it wont do anything. only thing working on it is the radio. How can I fix it?

Didn't realize it, but yes, since battery was disconnected last year to help with dome lights not going off after loose wire in door problem, my CD player will not recognize there is a CD in it. It will eject but not play. Radio plays fine.

There may be one or two in-line fuses. check Check the fuses, they may have blown when you reconnected the battery terminal

Check the little fuses both under the hood and by the driver's door.

CD STUCK IN CD PLAYER

The case needs unscrewing to reveal more of the internals. Go carefully and peer inside wherever you can to fiddle the CD back into place or out of the box. It's in there somewhere, removing panels will get there.
