I searched under 'ignition module' on autozone.com and 'no parts for ignition module' turned up.
I looked under DIS or Distributorless Ignition System and found the coils are inserted in the top of the engine and this tells me that it's likely that the ECM or PCM controls the spark on these cars.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the ignition coil cover (A), disconnect the ignition coil connectors (B), then remove the ignition coils (C).
  3. Installation of the ignition coils is the reverse of the removal procedure.

Central locking not working

I am not sure what model Honda you have, but on both of the 1998 Honda Civic LX models I own , their locking/ unlocking problems were caused by a Power door lock control module, which is located in the drivers door, behind the inside door panel. There is a troubleshooting process you can go thru, by jumpering various wires to test each door, but if everything isn't working, and you have checked your fuse for the lock circuit, then the Power door lock control module is the most likely suspect.
