I had cravan once, leak under van was coming from metal tubes for rear heat.tubes just corroded.if this is prob you can just splice bad area as there is no real pressure going thru tubes.small radiator hose and hose clamps should be all you need.

Possibly coming from engine compartment (engine or radiator, hoses, etc) and running back on frame before dripping down. Pressure test the cooling system to eliminate some of causes if this is the case,

My 2003 dodge grand caravan is leaking water from a line about under the passenger side. Radiator is low. I can see water leaking.

that water could be the condensation line,, if you have had your AC on, water will leak from along the firewall on the passenger side, where the tube runs out of the vehicle. Your radiator could have been low to begin with and when you saw the water leak,, you though that was it. check the puddle,, is it clear water or does it have antifreeze in it? If its clear water chances are , that its just the drip line from your AC, if it does contain antifreeze , check the 2 water hoses that run into the heater core , you can also see where they go into the cab portion of the van, from under the hood,

There is a leak that is bad enough the coolant tank drains within minutes im wondering if it could be a hose because it drains in the middle though closer to the opposite side of the car

If it's a hose, it will leak fast, but don't count out other things like the radiator, water pump, head gasket, etc.

fill the system up with antifreeze and water or just water for diagnosis purposes, and use a pressure tester to force fluid out faster.

Maybe, if the leak is fast, you can look under the car to see exactly where it is coming from.

You say middle and opposite side of car (is this as you're sitting in the driver's seat?).

Where is the leak, now?

Trasmission leaking and slipping. When you put fluid in its all on the ground.only slips when low on fluid. Could it be the seal?

Depending on the location of the leak from under the van. With the van setting on level ground have someone to fill the transmission with fluid( do not overfill) look under van to see if the fluid is coming from the front or rear or middle of transmission. If you cannot look under the van then use a large piece of cardboard and slide it under the van before you try to fill it to locate the leak. leak could be front or rear seals leaking or the pan gasket leaking. hope this will help you.

2003 Pontiac Montana antifreeze smell?

Bad News. I recently had the same type of smell ( no leaks or puddles either) coming from my van and had to have the intake manifold gasket replaced due to the Dex-cool issue. It appears GM installed an inadequate/substandard gasket when they built the van. My van only had 65,000 miles on it. There's a Dex-cool settlement you could have applied for but repairs had to be made by May of 2008.

This is the only real complaint I've had with the van.
