3S-SFE Engine I have this engine on my Vista D4 and the front crancshaft gear broke but when we put it back the engine cant start dispite timing it properly. Can anyone help Gwatula

It seems somebody tempered with the throttlebody air adjustment so whenever the car heats up they will be more air supplied to mix with fuel it blows the fuel out plus the heat coming makes the car does what we call preignition rendering the cylinder useless at the point of combustion but after it cools down with the air switch automatically switched off for cold start it will run

When a battery is drained like that control modules lose memory ,thing's need to be relearned ! Battery Disconnect or Replacement Problems European vehicles are the worst for this

if it rises, but not speed, that is trans./clutch slip
if no rpm rise that is weak engine , BUT IS THE RED BEAM.?

1: NEVER TUNED UP. BAD SPARK CLOGGED FILTES X2
2: ENGINE ecu stuck in limphome, scan it, see errors, BINGO
3: engine misfiring, cause by low compression, weak spark or bad fueling (too rich or too lean) many tests, ask.
4: low fuel pressure or regulator not regulation per FsM PAGE
5:STUCK OPEN egr main valve (missing in some countries)
6: melted cat converter , vacuum gage reads real bad,
7: and more, i charge more for more, LOL vvt?
