Yes, at least here in Canada. The plug is located rightmost of the battery. You have to undo the tie-wrap if it’s never been used. Most of them are still brand new at the scrap yard. That’s for 2004-2008 models with a coolant type in the front of the engine right under the exhaust manifold. 2009- have an oil pan heater and may not have the wiring installed.

Thanks i believe I found it. By the battery all still tied up. I undid it and plugged it in. Can't think of a plug there for anything else.

Not usually. It's usually an aftermarket part. Maybe in certain parts of the country they may pre install but not usually.

SOURCE: how do you install a block heater on a chevy aveo 2006?

A block heater is installed in one of the freeze plug ports in your block. Drain your cooling system. Then drill a small hole i the center of the freeze plug and screw a self tapping screw into the hole. You can the use a claw hammer or something similar to pull the freeze plug. Then you just install the block heater in the freeze plug's place. Refill your cooling system and let it get up to full temperature checking carefully for leaks. Please rate my answer.

Where is my block heater situated on 2004 chev aveo

Not all cars are equipped with a block heater...in fact the vast majority of cars aren't...If you have one it is in the engine blocks cooling jacket, or it may be in the radiator hose. If you can locate a 3 prong electrical plug on the front of your Aveo, follow the cord back to the engine and you'll see where it is.

Where is the block heater plug in on engine

The block heater is usually in thesoft plug on the side of the block, or some they just cut the lower radiator hose and it installs with to hose clamps , if the block heater was factory there should be two prongs coming out of one of the soft plugs
