hello there,
I think my borrego has the same problem.
So, could you email me to discuss this problem?
My email address is [email protected]
I look forward to getting your email.
Thanks.
Be certain you are on the regular pump not the diesel as the nozzle diameter is much larger on diesel pumps nozzles for the reason of not making a mistake, also check to see if someone was trying to siphon gas from your vehicle while you were sleeping or at work when the vehicle was left unattended, they sometimes put a hose down the throat of the filler neck and leave it or it breaks off while they are done getting free gas...if all else is and looks normal (has a little flap device built in it) then the problem is the venting tube is either plugged or kinked not allowing the fuel to flow freely into the tank and causing it to back up, have it checked most likely by a pro shop on a car lift.
I have a Kia Sedona 2005 and I can't fill it up with gas without the pump kicking off and I have tried several gas stations. Sometimes I can get a few gallons in with no problem but then it kicks off again and I have to spend twenty minutes dripping fuel into it until I loose patience. Help me!
My wife and I bought a 2009 Borrego with the 3.8 lt. engine. On start up the engine knocks for about 3 sec's. This happens cold, more so, and warm. Anyone have the same problem??? Service Manager says it's ok. Thought?
